A New Country

I am going to create a new country, recognized as such by the global community. The people of the world will be allowed duel citizenship and organizations doing commerce will be taxed. The proceeds will go to causes that restore dignity and human rights to the suffering. The country will exist as a massive social network, a patchwork quilt of human presence in cyberspce. The network will thrive on the basis of human connections, bolstered by incentives of Karma and Commerce. The country, Pangea, will be a place that mimicks the world we want, a self-fulfilling prophecy for tomorrow. Rewards will come from good will, and good deeds will seep from the membrane that divides this world from "reality", affecting both the souls and the lives of our citizenry.

It is not to hide, remove or wish away (as if you could).

As if you could live without having lived. As if you would want to.

Its absence would render you lifeless and hollow, sucked dry of your beauty and soul. It's presence is your weapon.

Suntan Lotion Applicator

Laura Wasser idea: offer the ability to apply suntan lotion to the body with the same mechanism currently offered for skin "tinting", i.e. the machines used for "safe" tanning where one's body is sprayed with a fine mist coat. It is quite difficult to spread suntan lotion on your body or on your kids, and nearly impossible to really do it right. With an atomizer of lotion, people could simply put on goggles and step naked into a shower stall-- within seconds they will be done. In a razor/razorblade model, the machines could be delivered cheaply to resorts around the world, and a premium could be charged for monthly "refills" of the specially made suntan lotion.
